Peter N. Slack is President and CEO of The Wyanoke Group. Peter has held several titles within the company including Publisher, Book Division; Circulation and Promotion Manager; as well as Advertising Sales Representative. The Wyanoke Group has enjoyed steady growth in the areas of print and electronic publishing; book sales; and continuing medical education meeting and project management. Peter is past President and a current member of the Board of Trustees for the Center for Family Services, a nonprofit human services agency. Other professional titles and memberships have included Board of Directors of the International Association of Association Management Companies and Board of Directors of the American Medical Publishers Association. In addition, Peter is President of the Broadway Theatre of Pitman.


Management Team

John C. Carter, Chief Operating Officer

John is responsible for the strategic development of the Wyanoke group, including oversight of SLACK Incorporated and Association & Meetings Solutions. Employed by SLACK since 1982, John served as Editor, Writer, Managing Editor, Publication Development Director, Vice President and Senior Vice President prior to being appointed COO in 2007. John is a member of the American Society of Business Publication Editors and the Society for Professional Journalists. John also founded and serves as Executive Director of the Road Runners Club of Woodbury, a chapter of the Road Runners Club of America.


Richard N. Roash, Executive Vice President

Richard's many years of experience provide perspective and advice for all Wyanoke Group companies. Employed by the Wyanoke Group for more than 30 years, Richard served as Sales Representative, Sales Manager, Division Manager, and Vice President before being named Executive Vice President in 1999. Richard is Treasurer and a member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Medical Media.


Darrell J. Blood, Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer of the Wyanoke Group, Darrell has direct responsibility for accounting, data entry and customer service for The Wyanoke Group. Originally hired in March of 1989 as Assistant Controller of SLACK, Darrell has served as Controller and Vice President of Finance prior to being named CFO in 2007. Darrell has a BS in Accounting from Rutgers and an MBA from Rutgers. In addition to his role with The Wyanoke Group, Darrell serves as Treasurer and Business Manager of the Broadway Theatre of Pitman.


Denise Mealey, Senior Vice President

An employee of The Wyanoke Group for more than 30 years, Denise serves the dual roles of Senior Vice President for The Wyanoke Group and Chief Operating Officer of Cyrus Express. As Senior Vice President of Operations, Denise is responsible for purchasing, human resources, operations, shipping/receiving and payroll for The Wyanoke Group and its four companies. In June 2009, Denise was also appointed Chief Operating Officer of Cyrus Express, which produces printing and promotional products. Denise also serves as Secretary of the Broadway Theatre of Pitman.


Linda Baker, Chief Technology Officer

Linda is responsible for developing the company's long-term technology vision and IT product strategy, while working collaboratively with stakeholders throughout the organization. Originally hired in 1991, she served as Art Director and Creative Director before moving into the CTO position in 2010. During her tenure, Linda has facilitated change in the digital publishing arena and continues to pursue emerging technologies.
