Program Manager


This fast-paced position is responsible for managing all aspects of industry expert theaters/live events from inception to completion.  Healio Strategic Solutions is looking for a team member who is quick thinking, solution driven and loves to travel.  The primary aspect of the Program Manager is to oversee and ensure the success of sponsored industry expert theaters through working with internal stakeholders (sales, marketing/design, IT) as well as clients and faculty.  Collaboration and strong communication skills are a must for this role.

The Program Manager is responsible for budget maintenance and reconciliation, managing external suppliers, keeping programs on time and focused on primary objectives, providing ongoing updates to internal team members and client contact(s), and management. In order to perform these functions, the Program Manager must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  


Program Management

  • Manage IETs and live events through to completion ensuring projects are delivered on target and meet the established objectives
  • Work with outside vendors and internal staff to plan and coordinate projects from inception, manage work flow, budget tracking, and ensure completion on time, within costs, and to required quality standards.



  • Maintain and manage timely and professional written and verbal communications with clients and faculty members.

  • Provide ongoing recruitment program development by managing the marketing plan, circulation, review, and approval of all marketing pieces.



  • To be able to negotiate and understand clauses within hotel contracts
  • Know how to prepare set up sheets and review banquet event orders (BEO’s) from hotel
  • Travel onsite to all assigned programs/events



  • Manage budgeting, financial monitoring, and reconciliation of individual projects.
